Job description
Reporting to the Head of customer service, the international moving agent will work within our department of customer service and will be responsible for responding to inquiries, proving information about our international and overseas moving services.
Summary of responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries, quote fares and assist clients to plan their schedules and routes for international moves;
- Promote international and overseas moving services;
- Assess the cost of sending, including service charges and insurance, using rate tables and schedules as well as prepare and maintain shipping and other documents;
- Explain to clients the nature and cost of services;
- Prepare and administer sales contracts;
- Communicate with clients after sale to resolve problems and assure a follow-up;
- Provide information on claims or accounts;
- Monitor complaints and update accounts.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in clerical, customer service or sales;
- Fluency in French and English;
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing;
- Adapts well and learns fast.
